During the day, BakaBaka is a popular bakery, open from 8 AM, offering freshly baked pastries, breakfast and lunch, and of course, great coffee! In the evening, BakaBaka transforms into a lively dining spot, serving sharing plates, our famous sourdough pizzas, crafted cocktails, and an exceptional selection of natural wines all evening and into the night.

Bankastræti 2, home to Iceland’s first bakery in 1834! The building has now been restored to its original charm, blending history with a fresh, modern dining experience. Everything we prepare is made from scratch by our talented team of bakers and chefs, who have made their mark on the city’s food scene in just a few short years.
